This week in Caterpillars Class we…
- At the beginning of this week we had been continuing with the ‘Supertato’ theme. We created a ‘freeze the peas’ tuff tray where they had to use different objects to break the peas free from the ice.
- We spoke about what made us good people and created our own ’kindness’ potions.
- The children listened to the ‘supertato’ story and made their own masks.
- Each of the children picked a vegetable and drew pictures of their super-veggie. They spoke about what their powers were and what they did.
- We talked about how the police help us day to day and what kind of nice qualities they would have to have . We did this whilst creating our own police cars.
- Our caterpillars turned into butterflies this week. We each drew a picture of what we could see and described them to each other.
- Miss Becky showed us how to take care of the butterflies and what kind of things they like to eat.
