Ladybirds Class Newsletter – 19/9/2025

This week in Ladybirds Class we…

  • At the beginning of this week we had a lovely trip to Jubilee Woods.
Whilst we were there we collected lots of natural resources that then went into some of our tuff trays later on in the week.
  • The Ladybirds have enjoyed their daily music circle time. They love getting involved and dancing around with their scarves and singing to the music.
  • This tuff tray explored what animals you would find in a natural woodland habitat and we worked with the children on their fine motor skills by encouraging them to use tweezers to retrieve the insects.
  • The Ladybirds have also been exploring different materials such as rice. They loved using the funnels and pouring this rice down them to see what kind of sound it made. The liked filling the containers up as much as they could and then pouring it out.
  • They have enjoyed the washing the dishes tuff tray. They learnt about how we keep everything clean and loved squirting the soap everywhere. They were listening and understanding when we were explaining how & why we need to wash & keep things clean.
