This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we worked on our fine motor skills and scissor control using this messy play tuff tray.
- We worked on numbers and looking at patterns using the counting bears. This linked to our ‘Three bears ‘theme this week.
- This week we celebrated Diwali by making clay tea light holders. We also read some lovely stories about Diwali too. We also did our own Henna on our cut out hand prints for the children to make their own designs.
- We have also been looking at Halloween. We created our own ghosts out of our handprints for us to hang up on display. They loved getting stuck into the messy play.
- We also made our own smoking cauldrons. They used different shapes to print the paint onto them. These have been hung up on the windows in our classroom so be sure to have a look.
