This week in Caterpillars Class we…
- The children have been loving the festive activities this week. We have been working on our pincer grip and cutting through this Santa’s beard activity.
- We made our own post box for our present wrapping role play area.
- The children loved the melting snowman tuff tray. They used hammers to smash the ice around the tray, mixing the carrots around in the snow.
- We made some homemade ginger bread biscuits and the children each took turns rolling out the dough.
- The children have loved our present wrapping station role play this week. They took turns cutting the paper and choosing items to try and wrap for each other.
- We have visited the church to practise our songs for our Christmas sing along next week.
- It was Christmas Jumper Day on Thursday! It was lovely to see all the children in their amazing jumpers.
- They loved playing with the hot Chocolate station. Mixing the foam and making hot chocolates for each other.
