This week in Caterpillars Class we…
- This week the children have been doing lots of small group activities to work on their listening and attention.
The children especially enjoyed using the musical instruments that they could make loud/quiet noises with. - We have been continuing to strengthen our fine motor skills. We have been doing lots of threading to work on our pincer grip.
- This week we have been celebrating the big garden bird watch.
The children made their own birds nests and put little handmade eggs in them. - We have been looking at animals that will be coming out of hibernation. The children enjoyed playing with this tuff tray and imagining how the animals would come out of hibernation.
- The children enjoyed this ‘save the animals’ tuff tray. They had to use the water to rescue the animals from the sand and mud.
The children worked together to make sure all the animals were rescued.
