This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we have been looking a dinosaurs. The children loved the ice dinosaur tuff tray. They watched as the ice melted and changed shape. They used different utensils to help the melting process.
- We made our own rice shakers to use during our music time. The children used their imagination to create very unique patterns on the shakers.
Then we all took part in ‘music time’ The children had to listen and follow a set of instructions and move their bodies using scarves. - The children created their own clay animal footprints. The dinosaurs all had different footprints and the children were looking at the similarities and differences between them.
- The children were also working on investigating balancing whilst using dinosaurs. They were different colours so the children worked on their colour recognition and their counting.
