This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we have been exploring pirates. The children really enjoyed the ‘save the pirates’ tuff tray. They had to use spray bottles and other tools to save the pirates from the frozen ice.
- The Ladybirds class each made some treasure maps. They used cold tea bags to make them look more dated and scrunched them up. We then used them to find the treasure out in the playground.
- We made eye patches to roleplay as pirates. The children loved using their imagination to make up stories for them to play and explore.
- The children used clay to make their own gold coins. They rolled out the clay and used cutters to cut them into the shape. They then painted them to take home.
