This week in Caterpillars Class we…
- This week the Caterpillars class have been looking at clocks and the time. The children made their own clocks and have been looking at the different numbers and where they are placed on the clock.
- We were looking at numbers 10-20 and looking at what numbers the children could identify.
- They loved the coloured rice number hunt. Looking for the numbers that were in there.
- They loved the messy play clock that was made with shaving foam, using different tools to mark different times on the clock.
- The children made clock biscuits. They took it in turns to mix all the ingredients together and cut them into the shapes they wanted.
- We also looked at numbers to quantity this week. Using modelling materials, the children rolled out the amount of what the number read.
