This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- We read the story ‘The three little pigs’ and used props to act it out.
- We went on a walk to see if we could spot any houses/ flats.
- The children helped set up the wormery.
- We have been learning about different buildings that we live in. We enjoyed this junk modelling activity turning these boxes into house/flats.
- The children enjoyed their imaginative play in our doctors role play.
- We talked about what our favourite colours are and used the coloured foam to see what colours we could make.
- We made playdough portraits. The children enjoyed looking at what colour their eyes are.
- We had a look in the mirror and spotted the different features on our face .
- We then used fruit to make a pancake portrait.
- We worked on our shape recognition during this craft activity ‘lets build a house out of shapes’.
- We helped rescue the dinosaurs from the ice!
