This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we have been looking at the different types of farm animals.
The children made masks of their favourite farm animal. They used the glue sticks and PVA glue to stick on different materials to create their mask. - We have been looking and playing the sounds that each animal makes and the children have been working on identifying these sounds. The children have enjoyed learning the names of the baby animals. The Ladybirds class also made their own scarecrow with each of the children helping to attach the straw and make the face on his head.
- The children enjoyed some sensory games that we have been playing this week. ‘What’s in the Box’ is their favourite at the moment. Each child has a turn taking something from the box. We then talk about what it feels and looks like working on new vocabulary.
- It has been lovely seeing the Ladybirds work together and waiting patiently for their turn with the box. The children really enjoy taking part.
