This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we have been looking at rainbows and what they are. The children made wrap pizzas using the colours of the rainbow. Each of the children picked what they wanted on their pizza and talked about what colours they were. This was a great way for the children to try different foods they may not have tried before and look at colours of them.
- The children have been very creative making their own rainbows using finger painting. The children looked at the colours and compared them to others. They used their fingers to mix the different paints together to create different colours. We talked about the names of the colours and also have started looking at the signs for each of the colours too.
- We have looked at some different sensory tiles. The children really enjoyed the sensory walk that we did. They enjoyed learning new words to describe what they could feel and looking at the different colours and textures.
- This week the Ladybirds class enjoyed Boogie -Beats. They enthusiastically got involved with the story of ‘Three Little Pigs’. Warming up their bodies and moving around together.
- On Thursday we had fun on ‘World Book Day’. It was lovely to see everyone dressed up and looking amazing.
