This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- This week we have been looking at the book ‘Walking Through the Jungle.’ The children made their own jungle animal masks. They picked the animals and then using cut up materials, stuck them onto the paper plates to make their masks.
- The children loved exploring the different jungle tuff trays. They especially loved the one with the vines. They hung different animals from the vines and we spoke about the types of animals we could find in the trees.
- The children really enjoyed exploring the digger tuff tray. It had lots of different materials on it and they loved using different tools to explore it.
- Out in the mud garden the children made their own trail to follow. They used their imagination to walk through the jungle.
