This week in Ladybirds Class we…
- The children really enjoyed exploring our woodland tuff tray. We encouraged them to see how many bugs they could see and what colours they could recognise. We also looked at their sizes and ordered them from biggest to smallest.
- We have been working on the children’s gross motor skills. They showed excellent skills during our baby washing tuff tray. We spoke to the children about the importance in their hygiene and what they do to stay clean. They used lots of different tools such as sponges and tooth brushes to keep the babies clean.
- We also made some bread rolls for them to take home. They used their gross motor skills to knead the dough into balls and used lots of concentration when pouring the ingredients in.
